NUISS Set To Elect New Executives ~ The New Dawn Online

The long awaited Election day to elect New Leaders to pilot the affairs of the Supreme council of Students of Imo state origin worldwide; NATIONAL UNION OF IMO STATE STUDENTS (NUISS) is here and today. Millions of Imo students have invaded the cyber space to elect their leaders in an E-voting Formular adjudged by all asundry as the most efficient, transparent, free and fair mode of conducting a students' union election in a situation of manifest insecurity recordings as such that have bedeviled the south east, Imo state in particular.

Getting fellers from students of Imo origin in various institutions of higher learning within and outside Nigeria today on Skype, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and other social media applications, many have commended the NUISS 8th Republic electoral commission headed by Comr. Charles Obiefule for introducing the E-voting Formular, noting that it gives every aspirant, the entire Imo state students the opportunity to have full knowledge of the accurate results even before the are announced as anyone can at the comfort of their homes click post links of any aspirant to monitor and ascertain the voting process and results at ease or follow the hashtag "NUISSelections2021".

The National Union of Imo state students (NUISS) which is in existence for nearly nine years now has through its modes of operation and unpresidented students delevelopmental drives and orientation programs has prominently stood out to be the most celebrated Supreme students body in Imo state, dwarfing other non performing associations that have been in existence for decades but have no viable drive to unite Imo students like NUISS does.

By 9pm today, 11th June,2021 the voting process will end, followed by computation of results at the full glare of Imo state students and other interested parties like the National Secretariat of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and National Leadership of Nigerian Students Parliament (NSP) who are monitoring the process.

One beautiful point made by most aspirants of the 2021 NUISS elections is that if they emerge victorious, that they will support the Government of Imo state in the fight against insecurity in other to bring a lasting peace to Imo state.
