Buruji Kashamu's supporters embraced Dapo Abiodun Movement, pledge support for the Governor's 2nd term election



The management team of "Dapo Abiodun Movement" in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State was on Tuesday, 8th of June 2021, moved his Mobilization train to Oke-Sopen in Ijebu Igbo where the movement was launched in the area. Oke-Sopen is the home base and political ward of the late Senator Buruji Kashamu in Ijebu Igbo. 


Earlier last week, the "Dapo Abiodun Movement" was launched in Atikori, Ward 01, Ijebu Igbo and Ward 07 (Oru/Awa/Ilaporu) respectively. The event was witnessed by thousands of politicians and nonpartisan people who are admirers of Governor Dapo Abiodun. 


Speaking at the meeting where the Movement was launched in Ward 06, (Oke-Sopen), Hon. Morin Sonuga, a leader in the Buruji Kashamu's group revealed that the late Senator had instructed them that his political group should align with the Governor Dapo Abiodun political structure in the state incase he died. The late Senator was quoted to have made the statement while on sick bed during his battle with the coronavirus disease before he died of complications from COVID-19 on Saturday 8 August, 2020 at the First Cardiology Consultants hospital Lagos.



The event was witnessed by notable leaders in the Local government area, among them are; MOTEF Engineering Construction Company Boss and a former two-term member of the Ogun State House of Assembly who is also the leader of the Movement, Engr. (Hon.) Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan, the leader of the Movement in Ijebu Igbo, Chief (Mrs.) Omotuke Omotara, Olori-Ilu Imope Ijebu, Chief T.K.O Omotayo, Engr. E.S Oluyemi, Otunba (Mrs) Adetoun Oduwole, Hon. Gbenga Nuberu, Deacon Adekunle Razaq Akilo, Prince Morin Sokoya, Prince Wasiu Sotubo.

Also present were the leader of the Movement in Ijebu North ll (Ifelodun State Constituency), a former Secretary To Local Government, Alhaji (Hon.) Moibi Olufodun, Cheif Olaronbi, Mr Samson Onasile, Mr Museq Owodunni, Hon. Taiwo Ogunjirin, Mr Steven Adeleye, Mrs. M. Oduneye, Mrs. S. Abesin and Alhaja Muinat Odunsi Otubanjo among others.

Others at the event were the media team of the movement; Comrade Akeem Akilo, Hon Adedeji Adesanya and Oladipupo Omotayo.
