Abiodun is a firm believer in a youthful society - Lamide Lawal

The business of any Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Affairs is primarily to negotiate the interest of the Youths for effective representation and inclusion in governance; this is a culture currently being put to practice by Com. Olamide Lawal, the Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor on Youth Affairs.

In his address to the youth leaders of the state at the monthly meeting of Ogun State Youth Council, Lawal expressed his satisfaction in the conduct of the Council as an assembly of matured and positive minds that remains of great resources to Ogun state.

Receiving official reports on youth affairs across the twenty Local Governments in the state, Lawal assured of the continued support of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, towards an improved and enabling environment for youth development.

“The Governor is a firm believer in a youthful society; hence this government is not a one-man show. Let’s have no doubt in what we can do as one. We must all be committed to building our future together,” Lawal said.

The State Chairman of the Council, Com. AbdulJabar Ayelaagbe, has earlier introduced Lawal as a friend and member of the Council whose representation has been of great admirations.

The meeting held at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, on January 30, also witnessed in attendance the Deputy Chief Whip of Ogun State, Hon. Shola Adams, and the former Chairman of Chairmen for the South West region of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Com. (Prince) Adeleke Adebajo.
