Strange! Father defiles two daughters in Ikorodu

Operatives of Nigeria police at Owutu area Lagos State had arrested a 40-year-old man, Terry Iheme for defiling his two daughters (names withheld) in Ikorodu area of Lagos.

According to information gathered, the children involved in the ugly experience were 3-year- old and one year nine months old.

The evils of the perpetrator were exposed by her wife who had caught her husband during the acts.
According to her “ When I suspected him doing such thing, I confronted him that I will deal with him if i catch him red handed but he denied. On the day that I will catch him, i was in the kitchen outside and my spirit told me to go and check on my daughter in the room because I didn’t hear anything from them for a while. So, I decided to sneak and check what was going on through the window. To my surprise, I saw my husband removing my daughter’s pant, spreading her legs apart, then inserting his finger insider the little girl while he was also facing her on the bed. Immediately I cough, he jumped from the bed and pretended as if he was dusting the bed. On the other girl, her had access when I was in the hospital to give birth through caesarian section for five weeks.

There was a day he asked me to go and pick my other child from the school and before I came back he had also abused this girl. When I got home I saw urine on the floor inside the room and the girl could not work well again. When I asked him, he didn’t say anything, he only went inside the toilet to stay there.”

She narrated further that “later when I could not bear it I was advised to go to miracle center where I was told that the girls had been penetrated that the matter had gone beyond penetration but also affecting their wombs.”

It was also gathered that Iheme having realized that his case had been reported to some child right activists within the community absconded.
He was yesterday arrested with the help of members of Advocate for Children and Vulnerable persons Network of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, it was also revealed that some persons had been pressing the police to change the narratives.

According to the information gathered, a woman named Stella said to have orchestrated a plan to change the narratives of the case while the suspect is allowed to escape. But the DPO in charged of the case had vowed to prosecute the offender after thorough investigation.

According to a source, Stella, who claimed to be an advocate had hinted the suspect to abscond in order to escape arrest. She was also said to have prevailed upon the victims' mother to change the narrative of the case.

“Man who subjected his three years Old daughter and 1year three Months Old girls to constant sodomised and defilement was reported to one of us in Ikorodu.

It would interest you to know that this Person who claimed to be an advocate was deliberately encouraging the traumatized mother of the two little survivors to inform her outlawed husband to run away because we are planning to effect his arrest.

We also discovered that this particular individual is trying to protect the perpetrator because both are from their same tribe.

Thank God the real advocate had stepped in and ensure the needful was done today by ensuring the perpetrator was arrested through Owutu police station”, Mr Ebenezer Omejaile, an advocate narrated.

Meanwhile, our correspondent confirmed that the DPO in charge of Owutu police division had insisted that law must prevail over the matter as soon as possible.

The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer could not be reached as at press time.
