Ronaldo on the verge to break Pele's record; After Breaking Platini and Bettega's record


34 year old Cristiano Ronaldo now has 2 more goals in league than Lionel Messi, and has won more points than anyone in Europe this season.

Cristiano Ronaldo equalled the record of Michel Platini and Roberto Bettega of scoring in 7 Serie A games in a row in a Juventus shirt. Ronaldo has now scored 16 Serie A goals in 17 appearances this season

The Portuguese captain now has 736 Goals and is now the fifth all-time top scorer in football history, Ronaldo is now 32 goals away from breaking an all time goal scoring record, he may soon surpass Pele's tally of 767 goals, unless the Brazilian legend decides to come out of retirement.

Cristiano Ronaldo tweeted:

"• 16 goals in the 12 games played.

• Has won Juventus 14 points alone since then.

• 11 Serie A goals in his last 7 games.

• 2nd most goals in all competitions with 29."

Even the Juventus coach Mauricio Sarri, has some beautiful things to say about Cristiano Ronaldo:

"We have a champion who sometimes creates a problem for you but solves 100 of them.

the rest of the team has to revolve around him."

His team mate and the team's youngest player De Ligt, when asked asked about Ronaldo said:

"Ronaldo? Fantastic to play with him, he always knows how to prepare to be be ready. He is the strongest of all, I try to steal some secrets from him to improve myself."
