Another Abiodun’s cabinet member sacked from four universities

Barely one week after an embattled commissioner- designate in Ogun state, Prof. Sidi Osho was exposed by PLATFORM TIMES over the true status of her professorial cadre, another political appointee, Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa has also been alleged for certificate forgery.

PLATFORM TIMES reliably gathered that Odemuyiwa who was the Special Adviser to Governor Abiodun on Education was reportedly dismissed from four different universities for an alleged gross misconduct and certificate forgery.

Investigation conducted by PLATFORM TIMES revealed that Odemuyiwa was alleged to be a serial certificate forger who has been going around with forged certificates.

It was learnt that the Abiodun’s appointee has been caught by management of different places he had worked with and which reportedly led to his dismissal from the Universities’ system.

PLATFORM TIMES findings revealed that Odemuyiwa had worked with the Kwara State University, Tai Solarin University of Education, University of Lagos and the Olabisi Onabanjo University, but he was reportedly unceremoniously dismissed from all the universities.

Further findings revealed that Odemuyiwa’s dismissal from the four universities was as a result of forged certificates.

It was learnt that the embattled SA reportedly rose to the top in academics by allegedly presenting different forged certificates of institutions he neither attended not completed.

PLATFORM TIMES further learnt that Odemuyiwa was reportedly dismissed at OOU in 2013 for offences ranging from gross misconduct, certificate forgery, among others.

A top official of OOU who pleaded anonymity confirmed the dismissal of Odemuyiwa to our reporter.

The source explained that Odemuyiwa was found guilty of presenting a forged certificate to the University and also involved in a misconduct that contravened the institution’s law.

The source said, “I can confirm to you that Dr. Odemuyiwa was dismissed from OOU in 2013 for gross misconduct.

“He was found to be carrying a forged certificate and he was dismissed for that and some other misconducts.
“He can never claim that he is unaware of his dismissal because a letter was given to him. Why did he stop coming to work if he is not aware of his dismissal.”

Further findings also revealed that Odemuyiwa was appointed as a part time lecturer in Kwara State University while working with OOU.

It was learnt that he was alleged to have also presented a fake promotion letter.

It was discovered that Odemuyiwa presented a forged letter of promotion to become an associate professor to the management of KWASU.

PLAFORM TIMES further gathered that Odemuyiwa’s problem started in KWASU when he had a disagreement with the Vice-Chancellor of the University.

It was learnt that Odemuyiwa’s forged certificate which has been known by the management was brought out and his appointment into the institution was declared illegal and was terminated immediately.
