Amosun should be held responsible for the loss of the biggest refinery in the world, Dangote refinery to Lagos State - OGD

The former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has said the immediate past governor of Ogun state, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun should be held responsible for the loss of the biggest refinery in the world, Dangote refinery to Lagos State.

Speaking on Sweet 107.1 FM current affairs programme in Abeokuta, Otunba Gbenga Daniel said: "Before the end of my adminstration, Dangote had acquired the space for the refinery. All of a sudden, I heard Shell wanted to withdraw, Chevron wanted to withdraw... Why?"

"The rest is history, but my challenge to you is to invite our Former Governor (Amosun), maybe there are things I don't know which he (Amosun) could put more light on but I hold him responsible for the loss of Dangote Refinery which has now become the biggest refinery in the world with the capacity to employ in the first instance, over 20,000 youths to Lekki."

"We need to plead with Ibikunle Amosun to come and throw light on what actually happened."
