Ogun Youth Chairman Applauds Appointment of Lamide Lawal As Special Assistant on Youth Affairs



A former President of the Student Union Government for Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Olamide Lawal, has been appointed as a Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun

Reacting to the latest appointment of the Governor, the Chairman of Ogun State Youth Council, Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe, described Lawal as the right man for the job. “Mr. Lawal is a fine gentleman. Since the beginning of this administration, he has been resourceful to the several efforts of the Council in improving the welfare of the Youth. He has shown his capacity and desire to promote the interest of the youth whenever he is being called upon. And from his antecedent, this appointment is not too much an honour for him at least for now,” Ayelaagbe said.

Mr. Olamide Lawal, a graduate of Microbiology from the prestigious Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, according to the popular opinion of alumni members of the school, is one of the best Student Union Government’s Presidents to ever serve the school.

Lawal is well known to have played a lead role in the new media team of Prince Dapo Abiodun during the 2019 gubernatorial election. He is the Managing Director of Quali Stones Nigeria Limited, and happily married with children.
